| Several basic, applied and clinical research projects have been started in the Department of Pharmaceutics to meet the educational and research demands of pharmaceutical industries and health systems. These areas of research include studies to determine the correlation of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic behavior of drugs; to assess drug stability; to evaluate the interactions of drugs with macromolecules; to develop novel nano-carrier based vaccine delivery systems, to develop novel drug delivery systems including liposomes, microemulsions, and mixed-micelles. In the Centre of Nanomedicine and Deptt. of Pharmaceutics a number of Research Projects on target oriented functionalized Nano-Carriers are in progress. Also critical work on alleviative mode of effective vaccination using targeted Nano-Carriers adjuvants strategies is underway. |

The layout and construction of area is as per Food and Drug Administration and GMP requirement. |
