The College has a strong academic base and research tradition where various departments interact and effectively participate in fostering a healthy learning attitude. The spirit cultivated through periodic but regular deliberations, discussions and interactions on contemporary and emerging trends in science inculcates a conducive scientific culture and ideas and achievements are shared among researchers and students so that they can enthusiastically involve themselves in upgradation of individual knowledge which uplifts the overall standard of the institute both in practice and demonstration. Needless to mention that pharmaceutical sciences and the profession of pharmacy have come a long way and now demand a well established professional course that is cross-disciplinary, involving molecular biology, computational chemistry, integrated biochemistry and receptor pharmacology along with pharmacogenomics and phytomedicine. Above all, advancements in prodrug delivery systems now attract emphasis and importance. Our future pharmacists should be talented individuals who excel in performance at their job, be it academic, industry or pharmacy practice.
